The camp site is located in the top field to the rear of Farmer Gow's, and benefits from being surrounded by hedgerow and has predominantly flat ground, making pitching that much easier, with no obstacles or obstructions.
We have communal fire pits to get everyone in the spirit and you can even purchase the firewood on site. Singing is optional, but fun is compulsory!
We are a sessional site opening April to September with very much a back to basics family focus.
One of the huge benefits of our site is that we are situated right next door to the ever popular Farmer Gow's Activity Farm where both children and adults can Meet The Animals, enjoy some light refreshments in the Harvest Tea Room or just muck about in the Outdoor Play Area and Bale Climb. Check farm website for opening times.
Tickets for Farmer Gow's need to be purchased on line at least one day before you plan to visit as site numbers are being restricted due to Covid 19 social distancing measures.
Locally grown hard wood, processed onsite, is available to order. From starter packs to get you going to larger logs for those long evenings around the fire, we can supply you with everything you need and have it ready for you to collect on arrival. All our firewood is processed and sold by Farmer Gow's.
With Farmer Gow's on our doorstep, taking advantage of the fresh produce couldn't be easier. From fresh laid eggs, to hand reared meats, we can supply you with all the steaks, sausages, bacon and burgers you'll ever need. Prepared by a renowned local butcher, farm fresh meat is a tasty way to enjoy and support the countryside.
